Privacy

Privacy, in plain language.

Short version: by default we don’t track you. If you click Accept on the cookie banner, Google Analytics 4 helps us see which pages are useful. We don’t run advertising pixels, we don’t sell data, and we don’t use your data to train models.
  1. Who we are

Microserv.io is an AI consultancy based in the Netherlands. We run this marketing site (microserv.io) and a small set of operational tools for our own team. This page covers the marketing site only. Data we hold for client engagements is governed by the contract you sign with us.
  2. What we collect on this site

    • Server logs. When you load a page, our infrastructure (the GKE-hosted nginx ingress) records the request line, IP address, user agent, and response code. We use these for debugging and abuse mitigation only. They are kept for 30 days, then rotated out.
    • Google Analytics 4 — only after you accept. If you click “Accept” on the cookie banner, GA4 sets a small set of cookies that let us count visits, see which pages help, and which don’t. The IP your browser sends is anonymised before storage. We don’t enable advertising features. We don’t share GA4 data with third parties.
    • Nothing else, by default. We don’t embed Facebook or LinkedIn pixels. We don’t run heatmap or session-replay tools. We don’t fingerprint your browser. The site has no contact form: when you want to talk, you book a call (Cal.com) or email us directly.
  3. Booking a call

The “Book a call” CTAs link to our scheduling page on Cal.com. When you book, Cal.com collects the information you fill in (name, email, the answer to the qualifying question). That’s held by Cal.com under their privacy policy. We’ll see your booking in our calendar and use the information you provided to prepare for the call.
  4. What we do with what we collect

Improve the site. Reach out to people who’ve booked a call. That’s it. We don’t profile visitors, we don’t use your data to train models, we don’t share or sell anything. If we ever need to expand this list, this page changes first.
  5. Your rights (GDPR / AVG)

You can ask us at any time what we hold about you, request a copy, ask for correction or deletion, or withdraw consent for analytics (re-open the cookie banner from /cookies). Email [email protected] and we’ll respond within a few working days. If you’re unhappy with how we handle a request, you have the right to complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
  6. Where the data lives

Server logs and the website itself live on Google Cloud (region: europe-west4, the Netherlands). GA4 data is processed by Google as the controller for analytics; we’ve enabled IP anonymisation. Cal.com hosts booking data on their EU infrastructure under their DPA.
  7. Changes to this page

Substantive changes are dated below. The history of this page is in our public Git repository on GitHub if you ever want to see what changed.
